The OpportunityThis is far more than a traditional design role.
While outstanding creative and design skills are essential, we're looking for someone who can think strategically about brand positioning, customer experience, and commercial growth.
You'll be responsible for ensuring our brands remain visually compelling, commercially effective, and consistently executed across every customer touchpoint, from product packaging and websites to marketplaces, retail presentations, social media, PR campaigns, and marketing assets.
You'll also play a key role in mentoring junior creatives, improving creative processes, and helping launch future brands within the business.
Key Responsibilities Brand Management & Development- Act as the day-to-day guardian of the New Leaf brand across all markets and channels.
- Ensure consistency across packaging, websites, marketplaces, social media, advertising, email marketing, PR activity, and printed materials.
- Develop and maintain brand guidelines.
- Conduct regular brand audits and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support influencer, ambassador, and PR initiatives.
- Help strengthen brand awareness, positioning, and customer perception.
Lead and oversee the creation and development of:
- Product packaging and labels
- Amazon listings and A+ Content
- Shopify and website assets
- Digital advertising creatives
- Email marketing campaigns
- Social media content
- Retailer presentations and pitch decks
- Product catalogues and line sheets
- Point-of-sale assets
- Brand presentations and business decks
- Manage, mentor, and support our in-house Junior Designer.
- Oversee creative workflows and quality control.
- Help strengthen and scale the internal creative department.
- Collaborate with external designers, photographers, videographers, and agencies when required.
- Create high converting creative assets for online marketplaces.
- Ensure listings are visually optimised and aligned with brand standards.
- Work closely with the marketing and e-commerce teams to maximise engagement, conversion, and customer experience.
As we expand into new categories, you'll play a key role in:
- Creating new visual identities
- Designing packaging systems
- Developing brand guidelines
- Building launch assets and marketing materials
- Bringing entirely new brands to market from concept through to launch
Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior design role
Strong FMCG experience
Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills (Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign)
Experience managing or mentoring junior designers
Strong understanding of branding and visual identity systems
Experience within e-commerce and online marketplaces
Experience creating retailer presentations, brand decks, product catalogues, line sheets, and sales collateral
Excellent organisational and project management skills
Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
DesirableExperience within supplements, health, wellness, beauty, or consumer products
Shopify and Amazon experience
Photography, video editing, or motion graphics skills
Experience working within fast-growing entrepreneurial businesses
