We hire direct support professionals to assist residents with developmental disabilities with daily living activities in a residential setting.
Job Responsibilities of a Direct Support Professional:- Assist and supervise activities related to daily living skills.
- Administer or assist with prescribed medication.
- Light housekeeping.
- Assist with transportation.
- Assist in the implementation of individual goals and objectives.
- Data entry using Therap (EHR).
- Assist residents in pursuing recreational, social, and community activities based on their preferences and individual plans.
- HS diploma or equivalent.
- A valid driver's license in good standing and must be insurable through NJID's automobile insurance.
- Strong communication skills.
- NO certification required.
- Location: Aberdeen County: Monmouth.
- Hours Per Work Week: 32.
- Weekly Work Schedule: Mon 3p-11p, Thur 3p-11p, Fri 3p-11p & Sat 3p-11p.
- Other shifts are available at this location.
- NJID has full-time, part-time, and per diem opportunities in Middlesex, Monmouth, Ocean, and Somerset Counties.
