About the Role
As a
Direct Support Professional (DSP) , you'll play a vital role in supporting adults with autism in a residential home setting.
Every day is an opportunity to make a positive impact by helping residents build independence, confidence, and life skills while ensuring their health, safety, and well‑being.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
- Providing direct care and supervision in a residential home
- Assisting with personal care and daily living activities
- Administering and documenting medications
- Teaching and reinforcing independent living and life skills
- Providing transportation to appointments and community activities
- Completing required documentation accurately and professionally
- Supporting the overall day‑to‑day operation of the residence

Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or higher degree (diploma or transcripts required)
- Must be at least 20 years of age
- Valid, non‑probationary New Jersey driver's license
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to interact professionally and respectfully with individuals with autism
- Must successfully complete all pre‑employment requirements, including:
- Central Registry
- CARI
- DMV Check
- Drug Screening
- Physical Examination
- PPD Testing
- Starting Pay: $19.00 per hour
