Pay: £14.00 per hour

New Horizons Homecare Services are a leading provider of community care in Barnsley. We have care agreements with available opportunities for carers in the following areas; Barnsley S70, Barnsley S75, Barnsley S74. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent care to our Service Users and we promote a supportive, inclusive and positive culture for our staff members. We are CQC overall rated as 'Good'.

Full and part time work available. Early shifts run from 6am - 2.00pm and late shifts run from 3.30pm - 9.30pm. We can accommodate either earlies/lates or both with a break in between. The successful candidate must be prepared to work two weekends a month/every other weekend.

A full valid driving license with access to own vehicle is preferred for this role, however we do have walkable/double-up runs so depending on the location that the candidate resides, we may take a non-driver into consideration.

We are looking for a dedicated team member that will deliver high quality support to our clients. Duties within your role will be to deliver person centred support:

  • Assist with all aspects of personal care
  • Nutritional and dietary support
  • Support with mobility
  • Support with medication
  • Shopping/Community access support
  • Support with finances

Experience is not essential, full training and induction will be provided. A full enhanced DBS will be required and is chargeable at the outset; however, this is reimbursed following a 3 month probationary period.

Hours of work available are full and part time, including a weekend on and a weekend off. You will be allocated your own set run to ensure consistency of shifts/service users.
