We are seeking to appoint a Lunchtime Play Leader at New Horizons Children's Academy to stimulate and engage our children in exciting play and games at lunchtime whilst maintaining their safety. A willingness to work as part of a team and seek positive solutions is essential.
Hours
Hours are either 11.30 - 13.00 or 11.50 - 13.20, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
- Supervise pupils outside in the dining areas, ensuring good standards of behaviour by following the School's Behaviour Management Policy.
- Assist with associated ancillary duties (e.g. cleaning up spillages, ensuring tables are clean, etc).
- Provide welfare support to the pupils, including undertaking first aid duties (depending on training).
- Ensure School security regulations are upheld.
- May be required to work between 1-5 INSET days per academic year, to complete additional training and safeguarding updates, which may sometimes be outside of school hours.
