Contract: Permanent

We are looking for compassionate, dedicated and experienced Support Workers to join our team, supporting a client with learning disability in the LE16 area. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide one-to-one care within the client's own home, helping them maintain their independence while delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

About the Role

As part of a dedicated care team, you will support clients with learning disability as part of a 24-hour rota. You will work alongside experienced professionals to deliver safe, compassionate and dignified care, promoting the client's comfort and wellbeing.

What You Will Need

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A compassionate, reliable and professional approach
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Desirable Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends and bank holidays
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle

Helpful Clinical Experience

Experience in any of the following is welcome, but not essential - we will train you:

  • Moving and handling, including the use of specialist equipment
  • Providing care for individuals with complex clinical needs
  • Monitoring and reporting changes in a client's condition

Main Duties

  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred care
  • Support all aspects of personal care whilst maintaining dignity and respect
  • Carry out clinical interventions in line with individual care plans and training
  • Assist with moving and positioning using appropriate equipment and techniques
  • Accurately complete care records and documentation
  • Work closely with the wider multidisciplinary team and family members where appropriate
  • Promote each client's independence, safety and wellbeing at all times
