Role Description:
The Assistant Account Manager is a full-time role based in Cannock Head Office. This role supports Account Managers with their daily tasks and client communications. You will offer expert advice on a wide range of mortgage-related queries. You will engage directly with clients, gather essential information, conduct initial financial assessments, and provide overviews of available mortgage products. You will collaborate with national housebuilders, report on progress, and keep them informed every step of the way.
What We're Looking For
To thrive in this role, you'll need to be keen to learn and have a strong work ethic. While a background in finance isn't necessary, as full training and support will be provided, you'll ideally have:
A confident and professional telephone manner.
Previous sales experience is a plus, but definitely not essential.

Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and professionally.
- Solid organisational and administrative skills, including managing multiple cases, prioritising tasks, and maintaining accurate records.
- Comfort working with digital tools and CRM systems, with good general IT literacy (e.g., email, spreadsheets, data entry).
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and accountability.
- Attention to detail and a methodical approach to checking documentation and ensuring compliance with processes and regulations.
- Previous experience in financial services, mortgages, or a regulated environment is beneficial but not essential.
- Willingness to learn, adapt to changing priorities, and develop knowledge of mortgage products and protection insurance.
