Your NewRole:
This is an exciting opportunity to work in our ever-expanding NewBuild and Shared Ownership team. You\'ll play a key role in supporting the conveyancing process by providing vital administrative assistance, delivering excellent client care, and helping to progress legal matters under the guidance of your Conveyancing Executive.
You’ll bring strong organisational and time management skills, along with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work effectively under supervision. Meeting deadlines and confidently handling tasks will be essential, as will your ability to prioritise time‑sensitive matters with professionalism and composure.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow within the legal field —you\'ll receive full training and ongoing support to develop your skills, with a clear pathway towards becoming an independent Conveyancing Executive. This is a great opportunity to build and maintain good working relationships with introducers and clients. This is a fast‑paced role with the opportunity to study for qualifications should this be required.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist Conveyancing Executive(s) in managing their caseloads by undertaking legal procedures and administrative tasks as directed.
Conduct electronic ID verification checks for all clients, ensuring full compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
Reading legal packs and compiling site notes whilst also raising queries.
Compile Contract, Mortgage and Search reports.
Take instructions from clients and deal with client enquiries.
Knowledge of a Newbuild and or Shared Ownership transactions.
Carry out OS2 and Bankruptcy searches and ensuring these remain in date.
Setting up files for completion.
Proficient in completion statements.
Issuing contracts and dealing with any related sale or part exchange enquiries.
Ensure once notice is received, completion board is updated and complete completion checklist procedures.
Establish and maintain relations with introducers.
Support with any other duties necessary with the level of responsibility of this role as needed.
Requirements:
Previous relevant experience within new build and shared ownership as an Assistant Conveyancer or Conveyancing Paralegal.
Excellent communication skills with peers of all levels.
Be highly organised and focused with excellent attention to detail and used to dealing with a high email volume.
Good maintenance of organisational systems and processes.
Positive, professional, and friendly persona and telephone manner.
Strong communications skills both verbal and written.
Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
