About This Role
The School requires a qualified and experienced ISTD dance teacher to be a part of our dynamic Dance Department. The ideal candidate will have strong Classical Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Tap, Acro and Musical Theatre skillset and the ability to choreograph competition and show routines.
Responsibilities
- Source own resources and repertoire.
- Work with the Head of Dance to create own timetables.
- All dance teachers will have the same set rate for all 1-1 lessons and group classes.
- Pay a nominal charge to the school for promotion of services and use of facilities.
- Report on student progress to parents/guardians.
- Support or lead dance activity or workshops, which may be remunerated separately.
Qualifications
- Qualified ISTD dance teacher with experience in Classical Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Tap, Acro and Musical Theatre.
- Ability to choreograph competition and show routines.
- Experience delivering 1-1 lessons and group classes.
