New Hall School is seeking to appoint a Teacher of English to join the team. You would be teaching students across the Senior Divisions (Years 7-13). This position is suitable for either a newly qualified or a more experienced applicant and can be full-time or part-time.
Key Responsibilities

- Demonstrate strong subject and curriculum knowledge in English.
- Plan and deliver well-structured lessons.
- Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all students, including those with EAL, SEND and more able students.
- Use assessment accurately and productively to monitor and support student progress.
- Assess relevant subject and curriculum areas using both formative and summative assessment.
- Mark students’ work to a high standard, ensuring regular and constructive feedback.
- Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a positive and safe learning environment.
- Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people.
- Take an interest in students’ personal development and contribute to the wider life of the School.
