Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning in Business (A-Level) and BTEC in Business.
  • A solid academic background is required; the ability to teach Economics as a second subject is useful.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and departmental growth within the Economics and Business Department.
  • Motivate, challenge, and inspire students of all abilities, including those preparing for external examinations; support students to achieve their full potential.
  • Safeguard students and participate in the school’s safeguarding processes (enhanced DBS check prior to appointment).
  • Contribute to the department’s ongoing expansion as student numbers increase and new courses (e.g., BTEC in Business) are introduced.

Qualifications:

  • Strong subject knowledge in Business; ability to teach A-Level Business and BTEC in Business; ability to teach Economics as a secondary subject is desirable.
  • Open to both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers.
