New Haden Pumps is seeking a full‑time Stores Supervisor for our busy workshop based in Cheadle, Staffordshire. The role involves overall responsibility for the efficient running of the stores department, including stock management, deliveries, fleet maintenance and health & safety standards.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Accurately book in and out of stock onto the system and complete any associated paperwork.
- Support the team with scheduling deliveries to our engineers and clients.
- Pick, pack and handle stock with 100% accuracy.
- Maintain system stock movements.
- Assist with annual stocktakes and cyclical stock checks.
- Safely load and unload delivery vehicles, using FLT where required.
- Safely store stock, ensuring it is accessible and easily identified.
- Arrange fleet vehicle maintenance.
- Ensure an efficient, tidy, clean and safe stores area, environmentally and health‑and‑safety compliant at all times.
- Complete occasional deliveries in the absence of a delivery driver.
You Will Need
- Counterbalance forklift truck licence.
- Full driving licence (minimum 2 years experience).
- Good computer literacy.
- Ability to work under minimum supervision.
- Previous stock/inventory management experience.
- Kept keen attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
