Factoring Assistant EVH Grade 5 (PA13-PA16, £29,086 – £32,324) New Gorbals Housing Association (NGHA) is a dynamic community-controlled organisation. Our offices are based in the heart of the Gorbals, within walking distance of Glasgow City Centre. Owning and managing 2,600 homes for rent and factoring over 1,900 owners homes, we are committed to: • providing the highest possible quality housing, environment and services to all of our customers, and • maximising our contribution to the overall regeneration of the Gorbals, addressing wherever possible the needs of those in the community who are disadvantaged. As a Factoring Assistant you will support the association in our delivery of services to our factored owners and other non-SST tenures within the community. In addition, you will be able to demonstrate: • Experience of understanding of relevant legislation relating to factoring, shared ownership and Mid- Market Rent. • Excellent communication both verbally and written to effectively deal with estate management and repairs issues. • Conducting estate inspections. • Excellent communication, presentational and policy writing skills.
