We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Electric Gate Engineer to oversee the operation, maintenance, and security of access control systems at our facility. *Duties*
- Install, inspect, and maintain automated entryway mechanisms, CCTV surveillance systems, and access control hardware using hand tools and power tools.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues, mechanical failures, and system malfunctions related to gate operations and security infrastructure.
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and system design documents to facilitate accurate repairs and upgrades.
- Manage computer networking components associated with access control systems, ensuring seamless connectivity and communication.
- Conduct regular system audits of CCTV cameras, IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), and telecommunication networks to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with construction teams during system installation or upgrades involving electrical wiring, mechanical parts, or telecommunication infrastructure.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, system configurations, incident reports, and inspection logs for compliance and troubleshooting purposes.
*Skills*
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience handling construction tools, power tools, hand tools, and schematics.
- Proficiency in computer networking principles relevant to security systems and telecommunication setups.
- Electrical experience with wiring, circuit troubleshooting, and understanding electrical schematics.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems, IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), and overall system design for integrated security solutions.
- Knowledge of telecommunication infrastructure including cabling standards and network configurations.
- Ability to interpret technical diagrams such as schematics related to system hardware or electrical wiring.
- Prior experience in construction or facility maintenance involving gate mechanisms or security infrastructure is highly desirable.
