We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Wedding and Events Executive to join our team based at our Burley Manor, Ringwood. Joining us on a full‑time, permanent basis you will receive a competitive salary of £27,270.00 per annum plus commission. A typical working week will be spread over 5 days, 40 hours a week, including weekend working as standard: Tuesday to Saturday or Wednesday to Sunday.

Responsibilities:

  • Handling inbound and outbound emails and phone enquiries to take enquiries through to final details
  • Liaising with prospective clients, providing detailed quotes and invoices as required
  • Assisting account management upfront with guidance, upselling and operational planning considerations
  • Taking ownership for new relationships and the development and securement of new business
  • Meeting and greeting prospective clients and actioning from initial show round, confirmation and detailed transfer to account management following signed contracts
  • Managing all customer contact; following up enquiries with proposals leading to contract creation and accounting
  • Attending, presenting and networking at exhibitions, events and internal meetings to perform duties and aid business development
  • Communicating, liaising, and negotiating internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships
  • Ensuring all current bookings and appointments are handed over to the relevant departments within an appropriate timeframe

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum GCSE (or equivalent qualification), grade ‘C’ or above in Math’s and English
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Good, confident telephone manner
  • A willing team player with a flexible working attitude
  • Practical and confident approach to problem solving
  • Organised and happy to work on own initiative
  • Sales experience is preferred
