We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant & Bar Manager to join our New Forest Collection team. As the Restaurant & Bar Manager at Bartley Lodge Hotel, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our Restaurant & Bar operations, including managing a team of food and beverage assistants and supervisors. You will work closely with our Head Chef to ensure that our guests have an exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and train a team of Food and Beverage Assistants and Supervisors
- Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
- Manage budgets for Restaurant & Bar operations
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Oversee the scheduling of staff
- Handle customer complaints and resolve conflicts
- Ensure that all Restaurant & Bar offerings meet or exceed guest expectations
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of food and beverage industry trends and best practices
- Experience with inventory management and budgeting
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
