We are a charming small cosy hotel nestled in the heart of the New Forest, and we’re looking for a friendly, reliable, and hardworking General Assistant to join our fantastic team. This is a hands‑on position offering a variety of duties across different areas of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Housekeeping: Help maintain the cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring they meet our high standards of presentation.
  • Reception: Greet guests with a warm welcome, check‑in/check‑out, answer phone calls, assist with bookings and provide local information.
  • Food & Beverage: Assist in setting up and serving breakfast, prepare and serve our food offering throughout the day, serve drinks from the bar. Ensure a high standard of food service and cleanliness in the dining area.

About You:

  • Experience: Previous experience in housekeeping, hospitality or customer service is preferred but not essential.
  • Skills: A friendly and approachable attitude, excellent communication skills, and a flexible approach to tasks.
