We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Hotel Operations / Deputy Manager to join our team at Bartley Lodge Hotel in Cadnam. Joining us on a full-time, permanent basis, you will receive a competitive salary of up to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Responsibilities of our Operations Manager:
- Developing the hotels' business in alignment with the group to achieve its ‘Mission Statement’
- Developing the team to achieve high standards of customer service through ongoing communication, training, delegation, and Performance and Development Reviews
- Maintaining the health and safety of guests, staff, and visitors through administration of fire procedures, safety equipment, swimming pool, and risk assessments
- Controlling costs of sales and overhead expenses to meet budgeted profits, monitoring food, liquor, and staffing costs weekly
- Collaborating with the Maintenance team to ensure high standards of repair and maintenance of the building and equipment
What we’re looking for in our Hotel Operations / Deputy Manager:
- The ability to work 45 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and busy holiday periods
- Experience in a customer-facing role with at least 2 years of Duty Management experience in a hotel or similar business
- Excellent customer service skills and an understanding of food and drink service, allergen management, and hygiene best practices
- A hands-on leader who leads by example
- Effective team management skills, including performance management
