We are a charming small cosy hotel nestled in the heart of the New Forest, and we’re looking for a friendly, reliable, and hardworking General Assistant to join our fantastic team. This is a hands-on position offering a variety of duties across different areas of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Housekeeping: Help maintain the cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring they meet our high standards of presentation.
- Reception: Greet guests with a warm welcome, check-in/check-out, answer phone calls, assist with bookings and provide local information.
- Food & Beverage: Assist in setting up and serving breakfast, prepare and serve our food offering throughout the day, serve drinks from the bar. Ensure a high standard of food service and cleanliness in the dining area.
About You:
- Experience: Previous experience in housekeeping, hospitality or customer service is preferred but not essential.
- Skills: A friendly and approachable attitude, excellent communication skills, and a flexible approach to tasks.
- Team Player: You’ll be working with a small, close-knit team, so being able to work well with others is key.
