We are looking for a passionate Kitchen Manager to manage the kitchen at our scenic hotel in the heart of the New Forest. As Kitchen Manager, you'll play a key role in overseeing kitchen operations and food production, producing great quality food for our guests while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene. This role is a practical one that involves cooking and would be perfect for a Senior CDP,SeniorSous-Chef, Head Chef looking for something slightly different.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage our smallkitchen team, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation.
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Monitor food costs and inventory.
- Ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure excellent guest satisfaction.
The Ideal Candidate:
Whilst these skills are desirable, training will be given in use of computer software and cost management etc
- Looking to gain experience in a kitchen management role.
- Excellent knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
- A passion for food, quality, and customer service.
- Ability to manage budgets and control kitchen costs.
- organisational and time management skills.
