Duty Manager – Food & Beverage Focus
Location: Heart of the New Forest
Salary: £30,000 per annum + service charge
Hours: 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7
We are a35‑bedroom hotel nestled in the beautiful New Forest, providing warm hospitality, quality food, and a welcoming atmosphere. We are seeking a Food & Beverage–biased Duty Manager to join our dedicated team and play a key role in the day-to-day running of our business.
About the Role
As Duty Manager, you will support the management team in overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, with a particular focus on our food and beverage service. Your responsibilities will include:
- Organising and delivering weddings, events, and private functions
- Overseeing daily food service in our adjacent pub and restaurant
- Managing beverage, consumable, and chemical orders
- Leading, motivating, and supporting a team across departments
- Liaising closely with the kitchen to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Working a mixture of early, middle, and late shifts
- Training
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in hospitality management, with a strong F&B background
- Professional, hands‑on, and guest‑focused
- A natural leader who can inspire and develop their team
- Own transport is essential
- Flexible and willing to work weekends, bank holidays, and during the festive/school holiday periods
