Are you passionate about delivering exceptional events and creating unforgettable guest experiences? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Conference and Banqueting Manager to join our beautiful manor house hotel set in the heart of the New Forest.
About Us: Set in a stunning location in one of the New Forest\’s loveliest villages, our hotel is renowned for its tranquil charm, impeccable service, and versatile event spaces. From elegant weddings and private dining to corporate retreats and bespoke conferences, we pride ourselves on offering a first-class experience in a stunning natural setting.
Responsibilities
As Conference and Banqueting Manager, you will work closely with our experienced sales team to coordinate and execute our events. This is a hands-on position where you\’ll be the point of contact with clients and internal teams to ensure every detail is delivered to the highest standard—from intimate gatherings to grand celebrations. You will be the face of the hotel on these special occasions, ensuring the team is delivering outstanding experiences.
- Personally manage and oversee all conference and banqueting operations.
- Liaise with clients in the lead up to their event in order to understand their needs and exceed expectations.
- Lead, train, and motivate the C&B team to deliver exceptional service.
- Coordinate with the kitchen, front of house, and events team for seamless delivery
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and health & safety.
About You
- Previous experience in a similar role within a 4 or 5-star hotel or event venue.
- Excellent leadership and organisational skills.
- Outstanding communication and client management abilities.
- A passion for hospitality and delivering memorable experiences.
- Flexible, hands-on, and calm under pressure.
