About the Role

Help keep the New Forest clean and tidy by organising staffing and collection rounds. You will load and drive on the collection routes, support the depot supervisor, and deputy in his absence. The role requires adapting to daily service changes, and you may sometimes support other depots to ensure coverage across the district.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organise staffing and collection rounds to maintain a professional, reliable system.
  • Load, drive and complete collection rounds, ensuring timely service delivery.
  • Support the depot supervisor and deputise in his absence.
  • Adapt to daily changes in service and support other depots when required.
  • Provide input into the specification and delivery of new services (wheeled bins, food waste, separate card and paper collection).

Qualifications & Experience

  • LGV Class 2 licence.
  • Current CPC certificate, or willingness to achieve it within 12 months of appointment.
