We’re expanding our waste services and looking for a dedicated Waste and Recycling Operative to help deliver this vital service to our communities.

- Salary: £26,476 per annum (pay award pending)
- Basis: Full time

- Location: Lymington Depot

Responsibilities
- First point of contact for residents’ recycling and waste, identifying contamination and ensuring material is correctly sorted for recycling or energy recovery.
- Perform physically demanding, sometimes messy outdoor work while maintaining safety and environmental standards.
- Assist in maintaining and operating waste collection vehicles and equipment.
- Support the team in meeting daily collection targets and service objectives.
Requirements
- Subject to pre‑employment health screening.
- Basic DBS check required.
