New Forest District Council are looking for a Cleaning Operative to join our friendly team at Lymington Town Hall, Lymington on a part time basis.

Your main duties will be:

  • Maintain a high standard of cleaning throughout the Council buildings.
  • Vacuuming, floor polishing, chemical clean of lavatories.
  • Provide a safe working environment whilst dealing with chemicals, ensuring that they are handled in accordance with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Assessments.
  • Ensure all cleaning schedules are followed and checklists are completed.
  • Consistently and actively apply good housekeeping principles, such as turning off lights and equipment when not in use, in order to contribute to our strategy to reduce utility consumption and carbon footprint.
  • Undertake any other duties as required as directed by the Supervisor.

Full training will be given.

This post will be 10 hours per week Monday to Thursday 4.00 - 6.00 pm What we can offer in return is a great place to work.
