The predicted salary is between 33235 - 33235 £ per year.
Enjoy working outdoors and with a great crew? As well as driving, you will be expected to assist with the loading of the vehicle and support colleagues where necessary. You will also be expected to work at any of our Depots in Lymington, Totton and Ringwood. A moderate degree of physical effort is required, including some heavy lifting and moderate levels of walking. Appropriate personal protective clothing will be provided and must be worn at all times.
Full training will be provided in manual handling techniques, reversing assistance, health and safety matters and any other training appropriate for the role. Are you a morning person with a can-do attitude? Love an early start and to get your working day finished by 2pm? This role will require you to work early mornings and, in all weathers, but if you have the 'can do attitude', with an understanding of the importance of health and safety, this could be the job for you.
The working hours for this role are 06.00 - 14.00 Monday to Thursday and 06.00 - 13.30 Friday.
You will need:
- Class C driving license (Valid LGV to the class of vehicle required to drive and at least 1 year LGV driving experience)
- Driver CPC
- At least three years' experience within a similar waste/transport related environment
- Good written and verbal communication skills appropriate to the post
- Experience and ability to supervise staff and lead a team
- Good communication skills to communicate with colleagues and the public
- Ability to understand written instructions and complete relevant paperwork accurately
- Ability to travel to Ringwood depot
