Job description
Are you organised and good at multitasking? Do you enjoy working in a busy fast paced environment? Do you have excellent customer service skills and want to support the local community?
We have the job for you! As one of our Operational Planners (maintenance scheduler) within the Housing Maintenance Service, you will support the day to day running of our operatives’ busy diaries, scheduling appointments varying from a broken fence to a serious leak. Engaging with our residents within the New Forest and building strong working relationships with colleagues across various teams requires excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
This is a busy role that requires you to think on your feet, be organised and able to prioritise tasks whilst managing expectations, workloads and changing deadlines. You will need strong IT and administration skills and be able to apply these skills to our processes, procedures and systems.
Whilst previous experience in a similar environment is preferred, we are looking for someone with strong communication, organisation and transferable skills.

Working Hours – 37 Hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8am and 5.15pm
(working rota 08:00 -16:00 four days and one day late shift per week 09:15 – 17:15).
This role cannot be flexible in start and finish times due to the nature of the role, though we look to support ad-hoc flexibility needs to support our staff.
Located in the picturesque New Forest, o ur office has been bought to life, with open plan layout and decorated bright and light with office views over our beautiful grounds with spaces available away from the office for team meetings in our dedicated meeting rooms.
