Are you looking for an exciting and new challenge? We are seeking a dedicated, experienced and professional Gas Supervisor to lead and manage our Gas team on a 12‑month fixed‑term basis. The role ensures the highest standards of safety, compliance and customer satisfaction across our Gas Installation and Maintenance services. Gas safety is a key priority; our engineers play a vital role in ensuring our properties meet the decent home standard and are energy efficient. We manage over 5,100 council properties, with over 4,500 connected to the gas network.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of Gas service, breakdown, installation engineers, plumbers, electricians and multi‑trade operatives.
  • Maintain and promote gas safety standards across all works.
  • Coordinate with Electrical supervisor on low‑carbon technologies and new product installations, including Air Source Heat Pumps.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and best practices.
  • Train and develop team members on safety and technical skills.

Qualifications & experience:

  • Completed appropriate level of training with substantial industry experience in domestic boiler installation, servicing, fault diagnosis and repairs.
  • Gas Accredited Certification Scheme (ACS) qualifications: CCN1 (including CPA1), CENWAT1, CKR1, HTR1.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
