We're looking for a creative, curious practitioner to join our thriving Humanities Department. If you believe every student — whatever their starting point — deserves to understand the world around them and their place in it, we want to hear from you. Working with our SEN students from Year 7 to Year 11, you'll design engaging, accessible lessons that spark curiosity and build real understanding. You'll be a valued member of a supportive team that genuinely loves what it does.

The successful candidate will:
- Plan and deliver lessons whilst following the national curriculum.
- Have a desire to work in an SEN setting.
- Be approachable, flexible and adaptable, with a desire to make a difference in our students' lives.
- Have the capability for supporting children with social and emotional behavioural needs within an educational environment.
- Possess effective communication and relationship building skills.
- Be passionate about providing quality education care and support to young people.
- To intervene physically with our students, when required, using Team Teach trained techniques when de-escalation strategies have failed (full training will be provided).
- Demonstrate analytical thinking to improve the quality of pupils' learning.
- Build team commitment with colleagues and in the classroom engage and motivate pupils.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Based in the UK and do not require sponsorship.
- QTS or equivalent required.
- Proven teaching experience.
- Desire to work in an SEN setting.
- Effective communication skills and build good relationships.
- Flexible and adaptable.
- Full UK driving licence – desirable.
