We are looking for a dynamic Team Lead to join our team and provide our children with a safe, supportive and nurturing environment while being a consistent role model in their lives.

As a specialist childcare provider we work with children who can display challenging behaviour and present with emotional and behavioural difficulties, ADHD and autism. A therapeutic approach, based on DDP and PACE, and putting our children at the centre of decisions, are integral to what we do.

You will lead a team of Support Workers, providing day-to-day support, guidance, and be accountable for their performance. This will include completing daily staffing allocations, promoting the ethos and values of New Forest Care, and carrying out the duties of a Support Worker to an exemplary standard.

What experience or qualifications do I need?

  • At least one year experience in a residential childcare setting.
  • Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification.
  • You will be compassionate, resilient, committed to being a positive role model and confident in managing challenging behaviours.
  • Flexible and able to work a residential care rota which includes evening, weekends and holiday periods.
  • Hold a valid UK driving licence.
