We're looking for a creative practitioner to join the team at our Fawley Primary School. Working with SEN students across Years 3 to 6, you'll be more than a classroom teacher β€” you'll be a guide, a champion, and a spark. Someone who brings imagination to every lesson and patience to every challenge.   • Experience with or enthusiasm for supporting students with special educational needs

The successful candidate will:

  • Plan and deliver lessons whilst following the national curriculum.
  • Have a desire to work in an SEN setting.
  • Be approachable, flexible and adaptable, with a desire to make a difference in our students' lives.
  • Have the capability for supporting children with social and emotional behavioural needs within an educational environment.
  • Possess effective communication and relationship building skills.
  • Be passionate about providing quality education care and support to young people.
  • To intervene physically with our students, when required, using Team Teach trained techniques when de-escalation strategies have failed (full training will be provided).
  • Demonstrate analytical thinking to improve the quality of pupils' learning.
  • Build team commitment with colleagues and in the classroom engage and motivate pupils.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Based in the UK and do not require sponsorship.
  • QTS or equivalent required.
  • Proven teaching experience.
  • Desire to work in an SEN setting.
  • Effective communication skills and build good relationships.
  • Flexible and adaptable.
  • Full UK driving licence – desirable.
