We require:

  • Essential: This role requires a Diploma or NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent in Adult Care.

Hours: 37 hours per week

Pay: £13.50 ph, plus additional sleepovers paid at £64 per night

Training & Development: We provide a wide range of training opportunities such as access to Mental Health First Aid, BSL Level 1, Apprenticeships, NVQ and ILM Level 3 (all subject to eligibility).

What we are looking for in our Senior Support Worker:

  • You will need significant experience of supporting people with complex needs and have a real desire to work with an excellent and positive team.
  • You will be able to demonstrate good organisational skills, leadership, communication skills and a willingness to work closely with colleagues and Team Leaders to ensure the effective and smooth running of the Service.
  • You will be expected to assist the Team Leader in the supervision and development of specialist staff, management of service rotas, development, and delivery of support packages.
  • You will have flexibility to work evenings and alternate weekends and take the responsibility of the on-call service on a shared rota basis.
  • If you feel ready to take on management responsibilities as well as hands on support this may be your chance to develop your skills and continue your personal development in a first level management position.
