A leading diagnostics organisation is seeking a commercially driven, consultative Regional Sales Representative to grow its diagnostics portfolio across NHS and private healthcare settings in South England, primarily Cambridge, Oxford and London.

The successful candidate will sell across entire diagnostic pathways, working closely with clinical, laboratory, procurement, finance, and operational stakeholders to drive adoption of evidence-based diagnostic solutions that improve patient outcomes and system efficiency.

You will act as a trusted partner to healthcare organisations, helping them redesign and optimise diagnostic pathways rather than simply supplying tests.

Key Responsibilities

Territory Ownership, Sales & Account Growth

  • Own the full sales cycle across your territory, from prospecting to adoption and ongoing account development
  • Develop and execute structured territory plans aligned to business objectives
  • Identify, develop, and close new opportunities across NHS Trusts, ICBs, and private healthcare providers
  • Maintain a strong, accurate pipeline and CRM discipline
  • Build and sustain long-term relationships within key accounts to drive continued growth
  • Identify expansion opportunities and monitor competitor activity and market trends

About You:

  • Proven success in medical device or diagnostics sales within the UK healthcare system and/or desire to learn and develop in this field.
  • Strong understanding of NHS structures, procurement processes, and funding flows and/or desire to learn and develop in this field.
  • Experience selling into both NHS and private healthcare providers and/or desire to learn and develop in this field.
  • Ability to communicate clinical and health-economic value effectively
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Experience in diagnostics, or laboratory medicine and/or desire to learn and develop in this field.
  • Background in pathway-based or solution-led selling
