New Era is looking for a Web Intern to join our Web team at our Milton Keynes office. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience across website management, project delivery, and SEO within a fast-paced digital environment. This role requires 4 days in the office.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Website & Content Management
- Support updates to key areas of the website, including homepage and navigation
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of pages such as PLPs and hub pages
- Upload and manage on-site content in line with brand and UX guidelines
- Work with buying and marketing team on trend edits and product list uploads
- SEO & Content Support
- Upload and optimise SEO content across the website
- Assist with blog creation, formatting, and publishing
- Support keyword research and competitor analysis to support growth of the organic channel
- Analytics & Performance
- Assist with basic analysis of website performance using tools such as Google Analytics (GA) and Content Square (CSQ)
- Use Excel to support reporting and identify trends or opportunities for optimisation
- Project Support
- Provide general support across web and digital projects
- Help ensure tasks are delivered on time and aligned with wider team objectives
Knowledge & Experience
- Good organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- A proactive and positive team player with a willingness to learn
- Strong analytical mindset with an interest in web analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Content Square
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good eye for UX / UI for website design with an understanding of what makes a strong user journey
- Familiarity with design tools (Desired but not essential)
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS (Desired but not essential)
Qualifications and Achievements
- Demonstrated interest in eCommerce, digital marketing, or web development
- Excel skills
- Google analytics experience
- CSS experience
Please note that this role is fixed term for 12 months, and is 4 days working in our Milton Keynes office, and one day working from home.
