Job Description
The role of the Marketing Manager is to collaborate with key accounts including but not limited to JD and Foot Locker, to plan and execute seasonal marketing campaigns through a retail and digital lens. In team sports, as New Era continues to build partnerships in football and Motorsport, this role will be required to partner with each of the strategic clubs and plan and execute seasonal campaigns across team and wholesale channels. This role reports into the Head of Marketing EMEA but will be required to collaborate very closely with the commercial team for key accounts and the sports teams NE partners with.
Responsibilities
- Attend the sell in meetings of each key account with the sales team to help land seasonal key stories.
- Plan and execute seasonal campaigns with the accounts with a focus on digital share of voice and conversion.
- Identify retail opportunities with the key accounts and execute branded spaces where relevant to gain brand visibility.
- Share insights from key account business reviews and campaign analysis to inform creative output for future brand campaigns.
- Manage end to end process for SMU marketing campaigns in alignment with the brand team.
- Manage and regularly update the Product and Marketing roadmaps for each key account.
- Partner closely with the relevant football and motorsport teams of New Era.
- Maintain a marketing roadmap for each team with clear marketing touch points, focus product, content cadence and budget investment.
- Attend weekly update meetings with each relevant team and feedback information and insights into the weekly brand meeting.
- Manage the end to end process on content creation while collaborating with relevant stakeholders so all deliverables are met.
- Be the point person to manage all marketing launches across partner, DTC and wholesale channels plus coordinating with international.
- Ensure all marketing rights for each sports contract is fulfilled by the end of the year/season.
- Document all marketing activations with an ROI analysis and circulate to key stake holders on a regular basis.
- Align all marketing plans with the budget agreed on at the beginning of each year.
- Maintain the monthly budget tracker documents and ensure budget is on track each month.
Knowledge and Experience
To apply you must have/be:
- Experience in key account marketing environment. Specifically in the Apparel and Accessories industry.
- Experience in working with or for a sports team. In motorsport or Football is a plus.
- A degree in Marketing
- Fluent in English
- A highly collaborative and communicative person and willing to work with different teams and regions.
- Proven experience in agency/supplier management.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and demanding expectations from internal and external partners.
- You must be capable of identifying opportunities to create brand storytelling opportunities in partnership with accounts either at retail or through digital.
- A good understanding of how digital marketing works and how it can bring value to the brand.
- Able to comprehend financial data and budgets and make decisions accordingly from a marketing perspective.
- Able to understand business analysis information to help with marketing planning.
- Able to work on the full Microsoft office suite.
- Able to present to large groups and senior management.
- Willing to travel to other countries as required.
