This role plays a key pivotal part of ensuring the smooth running of the Projects function at New England Seafood, working closely with the Projects Director, Projects Engineer, and Process Engineer. The individual will act as a first point of contact for project support across the business – including project set-up, tools & techniques, governance, and programme leadership. This is a secondment opportunity for a period of 1 year.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a first point of contact for anyone needing project support within NESI.
- Manage the governance of a portfolio of projects and programmes across New England, ensuring that projects are set up in line within agreed NESI formats (tools, template documentation, metrics etc.).
- Work closely with assigned project leads to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives.
- Developing strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Preparing reports and updating Group Projects Director and other stakeholders as and when required.
- Clear management of timekeeping and progress on all projects, understanding the risks and issues associated that may arise, escalating when appropriate to the right levels to manage expectations and ensure the right support and resources are provided in a timely manner.
