We are currently recruiting for a Supply Business Studies Teacher to work in secondary schools across Wrexham. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and knowledgeable teacher to deliver engaging Business Studies lessons on a day‑to‑day or long‑term supply basis. You’ll be responsible for maintaining a positive learning environment, delivering high‑quality lessons, and supporting students to achieve their potential. If you hold qualified teacher status (QTS) and you are passionate about delivering business studies to KS4 and possibly KS5, we would love to hear from you. As a Business Studies Teacher you’ll be expected to:
- Teach all areas of the school curriculum or your subject specialism
- Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment
- Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges
- Motivate students with enthusiastic and imaginative presentation
- Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of students’ development
- Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area
- Stay up-to-date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
- Liaise with colleagues and work flexibly, particularly within smaller schools.
