We are working with schools across Wrexham to recruit enthusiastic and dedicated Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistants. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about supporting pupils' learning and wellbeing, and who can help deliver engaging lessons and activities in both English and Welsh.

Successful candidates will work closely with teachers to create a positive, inclusive classroom environment and support all pupils to achieve their full potential.

Working within a Welsh medium school is not only rewarding but essential in keeping the Welsh language prominent within our society. We are looking for reliable and responsible individuals, who are passionate about working with children to help them strive and make their school experience a fun and safe environment by giving them the tools to reach their full potential.

Your responsibilities will be to support the teacher in delivering lessons and activities in a safe and engaging manner, assisting in the preparation of lesson plans and learning resources, encouraging positive behaviour, and supporting the teacher with classroom management.

Ideally, we ask for 3 months minimum experience working with children or have a child-based qualification. We do consider candidates who have transferable skills, this means having experience working in social care, coaching, or nursing.

Teaching, Learning or Classroom Assistants are now vital resources for teachers and are heavily relied upon in schools. We specialise in recruiting Teaching Assistants (TA) who are qualified in the following:

  • NVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistant
  • NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant
  • Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
  • CACHE Level 3 in Childcare
