New Directions Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a child with autism in Year 3. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide tailored support that meets the child’s individual needs, helping them to engage fully with learning activities and develop their social and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one support during lessons and activities
- Implement strategies to promote focus, independence, and confidence
- Support the child’s social and emotional development
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals

Requirements
