New Directions Education are recruiting Primary Teachers/NQT’s to work within primary schools in the Vale of Glamorgan, to help cover supply for short term or long-term bookings. New Directions are an award-winning recruitment agency, with a background of over 30 years in education. This gives our Teachers/NQT’s the opportunity to work with and build great working relationships with different primary schools across the county.
We also offer our candidates the opportunity to take part in our fantastic training courses/webinars which take place during Half term periods, all of which are fully accredited and are as follows:

If you are a newly qualified teacher (NQT) or experienced Teacher, we offer roles which include delivering the curriculum in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1) to Key Stage 2 (KS2).
- Teach all areas of the school curriculum or your subject specialism
- Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment
- Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges
- Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation
- Maintain discipline
- Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils’ development
- Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area
- Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
- Take part in school events and activities which may take place at weekends or in the evening
- Liaise with colleagues and work flexibly, particularly within smaller schools
