New Directions Education are currently recruiting a Primary SEN Teacher to work in schools across Wirral West. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and dedicated teacher to support and inspire children with Autism and complex learning needs, helping them reach their full potential in a nurturing, inclusive environment.

The Role:

  • Teaching and supporting pupils with Autism and complex needs across the primary age range
  • Planning and delivering personalised, high-quality lessons and interventions
  • Monitoring, assessing, and reporting on pupil progress
  • Maintaining a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Collaborating closely with SEN teams, teaching assistants, and wider school staff

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent UK teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching in a primary school or SEN setting, particularly with pupils with Autism or complex needs
  • Strong knowledge of SEN strategies, differentiation, and inclusive teaching practices
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
