New Directions are seeking passionate and adaptable Supply Teachers to work across a range of welcoming primary schools throughout Trafford and South Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity for teachers who enjoy variety in their role and are committed to delivering high-quality teaching across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. We are looking for enthusiastic teachers who are available to start as soon as possible on a flexible basis, whether that be one day per week or up to five days per week. We have a range of day‑to‑day, short‑term and long‑term opportunities available to suit your availability and preferences.
The Role
- Deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 following school planning where required
- Adapt quickly to different school settings and year groups
- Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and promote positive learning outcomes
- Assess and provide feedback on pupil progress where appropriate
- Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure continuity of learning and maintain high standards within the classroom
The Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Recent experience teaching within UK primary schools
- Confident teaching across EYFS through to Year 6
- A flexible, reliable and adaptable approach to teaching
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
