New Directions Education is currently recruiting a nurturing and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to work on a part-time basis in a welcoming primary school located in Fazakerley. This role is ideal for an early years professional seeking a flexible working pattern of 2–3 days per week, with days adaptable for the right candidate. The Role:
- Support children within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Work alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging, play-based learning activities
- Support children’s development in key areas including communication and language, personal, social and emotional development, and early literacy and numeracy
- Provide 1:1 and small group support where required
- Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
- Support children’s wellbeing and daily routines
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience working in an EYFS or early years setting (desirable)
- A caring, patient, and proactive approach
- Good understanding of child development and the EYFS framework
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexible and reliable with a positive attitude
- Willingness to undertake an enhanced DBS check and provide references covering the last 5 years
