New Directions Education is currently recruiting a passionate and committed Maths Teacher to work in a good secondary school in Sefton, supporting pupils from a range of backgrounds, including a high proportion of Pupil Premium learners.
About the School

The Role
- Deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to contribute to KS5 provision.
- Plan engaging lessons that develop mathematical knowledge, reasoning and problem-solving skills.
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Maths in a secondary school setting is desirable.
- Able to deliver KS3 and KS4 Maths topics such as number, algebra, ratio, geometry, statistics and probability, and support students in developing fluency, reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of strategies to support Pupil Premium students and close attainment gaps.
- Willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check and register with the Update Service, if not already done.
- Must have employment references covering the last 5 years.
