New Directions Education is currently recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to join a small, Ofsted-rated Outstanding primary school in Formby. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Early Years specialist or flexible primary teacher who is passionate about giving children the very best start to their education. The Role:
- Lead learning within the EYFS, delivering high-quality teaching in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework.
- Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that support all areas of learning.
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Observe, assess, and track pupil progress, using assessments to inform planning.
- Work closely with teaching assistants, parents, and senior leaders to support each child’s development.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching in EYFS is desirable, though strong NQTs/ECTs are welcome to apply.
- Sound knowledge of early years pedagogy, assessment, and child development.
- A nurturing, reflective, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
- Willing to undertake an enhanced DBS check and provide employment references covering the last 5 years.
