We’re currently recruiting SEMH Teaching Assistants to support pupils across schools in Leicester. This role involves supporting children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, helping them feel safe, supported, and engaged throughout the school day. You may be working on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, supporting pupils both inside and outside of the classroom.

What we’re looking for:

  • Have at least 6 months’ experience working with children with SEN, SEMH, or within a similar support-based role
  • Are calm, patient, and resilient
  • Can build positive relationships and maintain boundaries
  • Are passionate about supporting young people who may need extra guidance and consistency

Experience in education, care, youth work, support work, or behaviour support is highly valued.

All roles are subject to enhanced DBS and safeguarding checks.
