New Directions is working with a large secondary school in Leeds currently looking for a committed, enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant, to support students both in and outside of the classroom. This is a secondary school that places inclusivity at the heart of all practice allowing staff, students and families to feel valued and respected. This is a full-time role to start as soon as possible.
Learning Support Assistant role:
- To provide extra support to students
- To deliver intervention groups directed by class teachers and SENCOs
- To develop strong professional relationships
- To help create an inclusive, positive learning environment
- To promote student engagement and a love of learning
