The Role
As an SEN Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
- Support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, Learning Difficulties, and Complex Needs.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment where every student can succeed.
- Work closely with support staff, SENCOs, parents, and external agencies.
- Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual EHCP outcomes.
- Promote confidence, independence, and personal development in pupils.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Previous experience working within SEN settings is essential.
- Strong understanding of a range of Special Educational Needs and effective teaching strategies.
- Excellent behaviour management and relationship-building skills.
- Patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable learners.
- Ability to work full-time and commit to ongoing placements.
