This is an exciting opportunity to support pupils across all primary year groups, from Early Years through to Key Stage 2, gaining valuable experience in a range of school settings.
The Role
As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils’ learning, development, and wellbeing. Responsibilities may include:
- Providing classroom support to teachers across a variety of year groups
- Working with small groups and individual pupils to enhance learning outcomes
- Supporting children with varying learning needs and abilities
- Helping to maintain a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Assisting with classroom preparation and daily activities
- Building positive relationships with staff, pupils, and parents

- Previous experience working within a school or educational setting is essential
- A positive, patient, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
