New Directions Education is working with a primary school in Birkenhead that is seeking a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to provide 1:1 support in Year 5. This role is to start ASAP and is expected to be long term, ideal for someone with strong behaviour management skills and experience supporting KS2 pupils.

The Role: You will be supporting a Year 5 pupil on a 1:1 basis, helping them remain engaged in learning, manage behaviour positively, and access the curriculum effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing consistent 1:1 support
- Supporting behaviour regulation and engagement
- Encouraging positive learning habits and independence
- Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
- Creating a calm, structured and supportive environment
